My Last.fm top artists
By Doug Belshaw
My Last.fm stats since 2002 show that I listen to Bonobo (aka Simon Green) more than any other artist. Especially the album Dial M For Monkey.
There's some artists I listen to when I'm not sure what to put on. Einaudi's one of them.
Scott Hansen (aka Tycho) is a musician and artist. I put his music on to drown out other noise - especially on trains.
I listen to the Boards of Canada a lot less than I used to - mainly because not much of their stuff is on Spotify.
I put on music by Fink when it's morning and I don't want it to be morning. Downtempo goodness.
These two have written the scores to some of my favourite films. Driving to the Batman OST is amazing.
Sublime music. Listening to this with headphones makes you feel like you're in a film.
Happy, fairly soulful music both my wife and I sometimes enjoy listening to on Sundays.
More music I use to drown out other noises. Story of my life.
I loved their debut album, but the EP Blood Bank is my favourite - it sends shivers down my spine.
